I was a mess after hurricane Dorian hit us in Hopetown on September 1, 2019. Fellow friends and artists supplied me with art supplies and I focused on trying to use them up.
This idea came into my head right away – the idea was those lighthouses that are in the northern European seas and off of Canada in the Atlantic – and how they have stood the test of time and storms year after year.
The Hopetown Lighthouse survived Dorian, and within days after that hurricane the kerosene fueled light started shining brightly every night – five turns, inspiring and giving hope to her people.
The original IS available, 40″ X 30″ unframed. Contact Kim.
Giclees are gallery wrapped and ready to hang. BUT, let us know if you are going to frame it and we will use special bars for that.
