Baby turtles fresh out of the sand at the crack of dawn, headed to their ocean home. I started this painting with a VERY dark umber ground (dark brown coat of paint), and added the lights on top.  The opposite of what I usually do!  Gradually, the painting got lighter and lighter. However, it took over a million brush strokes! (Probably exaggerating, but it felt like it). Giclees are available in ANY square size.   If it’s not here, just shoot me an email.

Giclee prints come gallery wrapped and ready for hanging. (If you want to frame it, please let me know and I’ll use skinnier stretcher bars). Original has been sold.
